ADM Regeneration become more environmentally friendly with the addition of OilQuick

One recent addition to their fleet for the demolition side of the business is a Liebherr 946 tracked excavator.
When choosing this new forty tonne machine for their fleet ADM Regeneration also took the decision to add the QilQuick OQ80 automatic quick coupler from Warrington based attachment specialist ECY Haulmark.
OilQuick is a fully automatic quick coupler system which connects a variety of worktools directly to the machine without the operator needing to leave the safety of the cab. Typically a changeover can be performed from inside the cab in 20-30 seconds.
There are many benefits to installing the OilQuick system when investing in a new machine. Fast and efficient changeover means reduced downtime for the company, increased safety for the operator, no need for manual attachment changes, no more oil spills when dealing with hydraulic hoses. As the hydraulics hoses are drawn tightly to the machine and attachments with OilQuick this prevents snagging or bursting, which in turn saves on expensive hose repair bills.
One further advantage of installing the OilQuick system is you always use the right attachment for the job, with ADM Regeneration having equipped their existing selector grab, concrete pulveriser and bucket with the OilQuick OQ80 attachment brackets.
ADM Regeneration’s Operations Director Paul Cryer had this to say regarding their decision to convert to OilQuick fully automatic quick couplers.
“We took an interest in the OilQuick system for many reasons. Firstly, I had noticed over recent years on large demolition projects that a lot of time is wasted on site by operators having to leave the machine to change hydraulic attachments over manually. Secondly, as we all become more environmentally aware it is important that no oil is spilt during the attachment changeover process. Having the OilQuick system installed helps mitigate this. It also adds a cost saving benefit as we are not constantly topping up the oil”.
“The OilQuick system also negates the requirement for quick release hose couplings, which don’t last very long and are expensive, so all in all over time, OilQuick will pay for itself a few times over”
Paul added that ADM will continue to add the OilQuick system to their remaining seven demolition spec excavators over the next eighteen months.
