Armcon appoint Sean Warburton as MD
Armcon Limited, the market leaders in the design and manufacture of volumetric concrete mixers, have recently appointed Sean Warburton as Managing Director as part of their long term growth strategy. With a solid foundation in place on which to develop and facilitate the next phase of growth, Robert Armstrong, founder and owner made the strategic decision to appoint the new MD now in order to help drive this change.
The vastly experienced Mr Warburton joins Armcon with a strong track record in senior leadership roles within similar industry sectors including the quarrying, recycling and capital equipment markets. Throughout these challenging roles, Mr Warburton has successfully managed sales, hire fleets and after market support including spare parts distribution and servicing both in the UK and Globally.
Commenting on his first couple of months in the role, Sean was appointed on 2nd November, he stated “Firstly I am really excited by the challenge presented to me here at Armcon. We have an excellent product range designed and manufactured here in England, a first class facility and an outstanding team whom I’m already enjoying working with” Sean also added “My next role had to be a good fit and provide a challenge that excites me, here at Armcon I have this in abundance. I truly believe we have all the building blocks in place to take this business to the next level and I look forward to driving through this change”
Armcon have been serving the concrete and related industries for over 30 years from their centrally located headquarters in Stockport, England. Known primarily for their volumetric mixers or mobile batch plants as commonly known, market leaders Armcon continue to lead the way in innovation and design whilst supporting their equipment with a robust after sales service offering throughout. The British designed and manufactured mixers continue to set the standards and have Armcon in a strong position to expand on their Global distribution with their proven product range.
