Bauma 2007 - The largest Bauma ever.

At the forthcoming Bauma exhibition on 23 - 29 April 2007 in Munich, more international companies for construction, building materials and mining are expected to exhibit their current product innovations including the latest trends in technologies and services. The halls are already fully booked and current demand for the open air space is enormous with a long waiting list. Due to this interest the Bauma exhibition space has increased by 30.000 sqm to over 530.000 sqm compared to 2004. It is therefore expected that Bauma 2007 will easily surpass previous editions.

The Chinese exhibitors in particular have a presence nearly five times as large as at the last edition of Bauma. India also asked for more than four times more space and Japan even five times more. Exhibitors from Austria, Luxemburg, Turkey, Korea and Greece have also doubled their demand. Companies from countries like Bulgaria and Singapore are exhibiting at Bauma 2007 for the first time.

This illustrates that Bauma is the most important trade fair for construction machinery and equipment, building materials machinery and mining technology in the world. Underlining its leading position as the meeting place for all the key players.
