CDE, Nordic Bulk and FSG to showcase how advanced wash plant is tackling some of the most challenging waste streams in the industry
Open day event on 23rd September invites industry behind-the-scenes...
CDE, a leader in wet processing solutions and Nordic Bulk, a well-established local EPC contractor, have delivered and commissioned an advanced soil treatment facility for Fana Stein & Gjenvinning (FSG) in Norway, which is set to be showcased at an open day event in September.
Located at FSG’s site in Bergen, the event sets to demonstrate the capabilities of the advanced waste recycling wash plant.
Operational since the end of 2024, FSG’s solution is designed to handle some of the most challenging waste streams in the industry.
FSG’s 120tph wash plant processes a diverse mix of construction, demolition, and excavation waste, along with contaminated soils from roadworks and major building projects across the region.
The solution is also addressing one of the sector’s most pressing challenges - PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). It is becoming a model for how solutions can keep in pace with emerging environmental threats while maintaining both environmental and commercial performance.
The state-of-the-art facility is demonstrating how innovative wet processing technology can transform traditionally difficult waste streams into valuable resources. By prioritising recycling over disposal, the plant significantly reduces reliance on landfill and supports a more sustainable, circular approach to materials handling.
Learn first-hand how FSG is successfully tackling the contamination challenge, diverting substantial volumes of waste from landfill and contributing to a more sustainable construction industry in Norway.
The event includes a guided tour of the plant, a round table discussion on PFAS, a visit around FSG’s site and cave, and networking opportunities.
The event takes place on Wednesday 23rd September from 08:00 - 16:00.
