Charity bike ride by British Gypsum - 100 cyclists, 100 miles, £15,000

Almost 100 cyclists from British Gypsum arrived in sunny Skegness in Lincolnshire on Saturday (10 June), having cycled 100 miles from the Barrow-Upon-Soar plaster manufacturing plant in Leicestershire – the largest plant of its kind in Europe. They hope the event will raise more than £15,000 for the Nottingham Hospitals Charity. This is the tenth year the event has been run by employees of the East Midlands-based company and the cyclists have made nearly a quarter of a million pounds for various good causes since it started.
