Crushing contractor John Munroe to use Metso Lokotrack® mobile crushing and screening plant to build the major Gort-Tuam motorway development

Durability, reliability and transportability were the key criteria for the Irish crushing contractor John Munroe Mobile Crushing & Screening Ltd. to select Metso’s Lokotrack LT1213 mobile impactor plant.

The LT1213 is the first Metso crushing plant for the Ballinrobe-based John Munroe Mobile Crushing & Screening. The new impactor plant has started its operation at McGrath’s quarry in Cong, Ireland, and will shortly take up its next assignment, working on the major new Gort to Tuam motorway development.

“When preparing the decision, the size, transportability, mobility, durability and reliability of the crushing plant were decisive for us. Metso’s Lokotrack could meet these qualifications best,” comments Managing Director John Munroe.
