EDGE Innovate launch the most aggressive flip flow screen on the market.

With the ability to run 10% faster than competing flip flow screens and a mat acceleration of up to 50g, the EDGE  18’X6’ FreeFlow 186 screen provides operators with the ability to process hard screening tasks throughout the year despite the weather conditions.

The EDGE two deck FreeFlow screen ultimately provides two screening operations in one unit. Customers can now processed un-prescreened material via the FreeFlow’s robust scalping screen top deck whilst providing a fine screening function of difficult to screen material via the flip flow bottom deck. This allows for large unscreened material to be screened on a flip flow screen. The top deck provides a relief function, which allows for reduced stresses and optimal screening on the aggressive flip flow bottom deck leading to less wear and increased screen media lifespan.

The EDGE FreeFlow Screen range provides a highly efficient screening solution for sticky, moist materials with a high percentage of fines and is ideal for the processing of compost, wood, skip waste, trommel fines, construction and demolition waste and incinerator ash.

TOP DECK

The unique 4 level stepped top deck provides users with an aggressive scalping action within a robust design. Screening area has been vastly improved by reducing the dead areas found on the feed shelf and top deck cross members. The flexibility of the EDGE FreeFlow screen is highlighted by its intelligent modular top deck system allowing numerous media types such as 3D panels, punched plate etc. to be quickly and easily installed side by side. Thanks to this screen’s modular design, the top deck media can be quickly and easily replaced as and when required thus reducing downtime.

BOTTOM DECK

The powerful snapping of the bottom deck media generates a "flip-flow" material movement providing high acceleration that disperses particles sufficiently to allow smaller particles the opportunity to reach the screen surface and pass through freely. The combination of high acceleration (up to 50 g's) and continuous screen flexing helps prevent blinding, clogging and  pegging resulting in high a capacity screening process. With a wide range of adjustable throws and speeds, the EDGE FreeFlow bottom deck can be tailored for numerous applications. Various polyurethane media types with different panel thickness, hardness, pattern and apertures are available.

The EDGE FreeFlow screen has been designed to eliminate the blinding or blockage of the screen media that often occurs with traditional screens when screening wet or sticky material. With increased throughput, high efficiency, adjustable speed and throw and quality end products; the EDGE FreeFlow Screen range is the ideal separation solution for difficult to screen materials.
