enfinium marks Wales Climate Week with projection on its Deeside facility

"433,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions prevented from climate-damaging landfill” 

- that’s the message lit up on enfinium’s Parc Adfer energy from waste facility in Deeside, Flintshire to mark Wales Climate Week 

Since becoming operational in 2019, the facility has diverted around 1,154,000 tonnes of unrecyclable waste from climate-damaging landfill, preventing over 430,000 tonnes of carbon emissions in the process.

Parc Adfer plays an important role in helping Wales effectively phase-out the routine use of climate-damaging landfill and makes a significant contribution to Wales’ world-leading recycling rates. Parc Adfer has also shared plans to help North Wales reach Net Zero by delivering carbon removals at scale and supporting the local economy with CCS technology.
