FCC Environment welcomes new graduate intake

FCC Environment, one of the UK’s leading recycling and waste management companies has welcomed its latest intake of graduates as part of the companies graduate training programme.

The five new graduates joined FCC Environment earlier this month and have since completed their induction to the company, learning more about FCC’s core services. The new intake visited FCC’s energy from waste plants, waste transfer stations, household waste recycling centres and landfill operations to get a full understanding of each aspect of the business.

FCC Environment’s Head of Human Resources, Lesley Callaghan commented: “It has been fantastic to welcome our latest set of graduates to FCC Environment. We’re committed to developing the next generation of sector leaders and it’s exciting to see the talent that we have coming through. I hope our latest recruits get the most out of the scheme that they can, and it sets them up for a successful career in the recycling and waste management industry.”

FCC Environment’s graduate programme is open to all graduates with a minimum 2:1 degree, but the company is especially interested in graduates with degrees in engineering, chemistry, environmental studies, chemistry, waste management, geography and business.

As part of the scheme, FCC Environment is offering a range of benefits including a competitive starting salary, 25 days annual leave, life insurance and relocation assistance.
