First construction and recycling trade fair of 2022 to showcase new products live and up close!
Exhibitors at RecyclingAKTIV & TiefbauLIVE to use first event in the calendar to demonstrate newly developed machinery...
After two years, trade fairs are finally back! RecyclingAKTIV & TiefbauLIVE is set to mark the beginning of a year full of innovations. Around 185 exhibitors will present their latest products at the double trade fair from 5 to 7 May 2022. Everyone involved is looking forward to in-person discussions and seeing the new machinery up close. The organising team cannot wait for the restart: “The visitors, exhibitors and we in the organising team are really looking forward to the event. The industry has waited so long to once again experience machinery and innovations live, compare them and judge how they can solve the challenges they face in their own businesses. From the latest plant systems and electrical drives to digital software solutions, visitors will receive an excellent overview of the trends and developments within the sector”, says project manager Olivia Hogenmüller.
Innovative approaches to demolition work
Zeppelin is set to present the new Cat 340 UHD Ultra High Demolition excavator. Developed for heavy demolition work on high-rise structures, it features a working height that is 13 per cent higher than the previous model, the Cat 340F UHD. This makes it suitable for use on buildings with up to eight storeys. A variety of undercarriages, booms and sticks, together with the wide selection of Cat demolition attachments, make the machine more flexible so that users can get the most from their investment. Thanks to a unique coupling system, the boom can be replaced in just 15 minutes without the need for special tools. This enables quick adjustment to the current working height. The Cat 340 UHD is based on technology from the latest generation of Cat excavators, with electro-hydraulic pilot control, newly developed comfort cabin and a host of assistance systems for greater efficiency and reduced fuel consumption.
At RecyclingAKTIV & TiefbauLIVE 2022, the Wirtgen Group will present an entirely new innovation in the recycling industry. The MOBICAT MC 110(i) EVO2 mobile jaw crusher from Kleemann is flexible and versatile in both transport and operation. The highlight of this machine is its new and effective multi-stage overload system, which recognises overload situations caused by hard, unbreakable material. As a result, the system avoids unwanted downtimes, therefore increasing availability and overall output. Kleemann also offers support to operators in everyday work with the intuitive SPECTIVE control system and the new digital solution SPECTIVE CONNECT.
New machinery and attachments for the recycling sector
Liebherr will use the occasion of RecyclingAKTIV & TiefbauLIVE to premier its new GMM 50 multi-tine grapple. The five-tine grapple has been fully redeveloped and is mainly used in machinery classes ranging from 35 to 55 tonnes. This cleverly designed grapple is intended for efficient material handling in the scrap and recycling sector.
nb Baumaschinen, a dealer of construction machinery in the recycling industry, will also be exhibiting compact recycling systems at the trade fair. Among the machines on show will be the Kimera S430 mobile concrete mixer, which can create fresh concrete within 30 seconds. The mixer transports the materials individually from separate bunkers, so that the required product can be made on site without losses. The discharge screw conveyor can be rotated by up to 180° and inclined by 30°, allowing users to set the perfect discharge point at any time. The system produces exactly the required quantity and can be stopped at any time during the production process. Instead of expensive and time-consuming disposal, all material is used on the construction site, saving 90 per cent of the transport and disposal costs.
Digital solutions for greater sustainability in the recycling sector
Wastebox has developed an app that digitally maps out the entire disposal process. It connects customers and suppliers in real time, allowing them to organise the disposal of construction waste quickly and transparently. All information is captured in real time, combined in a central online platform and displayed clearly. Data analytics technology continuously assesses the data and provides it online at all times. By cleverly using this app, disposal logistics companies can continuously optimise their operations. They can reduce their ecological footprint and make all transactions climate neutral.
Also on show will be the latest dust suppression machines from Paal. These are equipped with CURT control software, enabling remote control and monitoring of the machine in real time. By inputting certain information, such as various weather conditions or light barriers, users can define when and how the system switches on and off automatically to combat dust or odours that are regularly caused by certain work processes. This automates the process of dust and odour protection, increasing energy efficiency and preserving resources
