Flexible recycling operations with a mobile impact crusher
MOBIREX MR 130i EVO2 guarantees flexibility, output and product quality
Today a recycling job beside the VfB Stuttgart football stadium, tomorrow a recycling company in the Fils Valley – the impact crusher MOBIREX MR 130i EVO2 demonstrates its flexibility...
Changing work sites – flexibility is in demand
In the foreground, the blue and white Kleemann plant, and in the background the home of VfB Stuttgart from the top tier of German football with their red and white soccer jerseys. During operation of the MOBIREX MR 130i EVO2 near the stadium, parts of a multi-storey car park have been demolished. The aim was to process 12,000 tons of reinforced concrete and 1,000 tons of asphalt directly on the building site to high-quality base layer material with frost-protection properties to a grain size of 0 to 45 mm – an economic and ecological solution. This saves on transport routes and the substitute construction material produced can be recycled in a targeted manner. Around 2/3 of the material was further processed within a radius of less than ten kilometres. Crushing on site, however, also means that his plants are always on the move: Once a job is done, they are off to the next work site. The flexibility of the Kleemann plants is a relevant aspect here.
At the next work site, a recycling company in Eislingen/Fils, the Kleemann impact crusher processed mixed rubble in the traditional way. A task that particularly challenged the wind sifter. It reliably separates pieces of wood or plastic, thus reducing manual sorting work and also increases product quality.
High product quality and output are decisive
High product quality is a decisive factor in material processing and this is where the MOBIREX MR 130i EVO2 scores. “I was really impressed with the product quality. This has to be really high for us in recycling. After all, as a recycling company we constantly compete with natural products such as crushed rock or gravel,” reports Markus Christadler, Managing Director of CK Abbruch & Erdbau GmbH, who is highly satisfied with his new impact crusher. The business operator is also very satisfied with the plant's output, which is around 250 tons per hour, depending on the final product.
Simple operation and good features help with the daily routine
Thanks to the intuitive SPECTIVE operating concept, users can also easily adapt to constantly changing situations. The hopper extension, which is part of the plant’s equipment, extends the hopper volume. This makes it possible to feed large quantities of material and increases efficiency. The secondary screening unit of the MR 130i EVO2 saves an additional downstream classifying screening plant and keeps the plant compact, which is a further advantage. After crushing 15,000 to 20,000 tons of mixed material at the work site within just over two weeks, the plant can be moved on flexibly to the next work site.
