From recycled material to ready-mixed concrete
Massfeller Beton2Go GmbH develops automated self-service plants that enable users to collect concrete as well as bulk materials such as sand, gravel or recycled material around the clock within minutes. The German manufacturer will be presenting its systems for the first time at the Resource & Waste Management Expo (RWM) at the NEC Birmingham on 16 and 17 September 2026...
The RWM exhibition at the NEC Birmingham will bring together service providers and technology suppliers from the recycling, waste and resource management sectors who want to manage material flows more efficiently, improve operational processes and use resources more effectively. Beton2Go, the German concrete specialist, is using the trade fair for the first time as a platform to present its systems in the UK context of recycling and waste management. With its Concrete Filling Station, the company is introducing a concept aimed in particular at recycling and processing sites that want to use secondary raw materials for concrete production. The plants are designed so that recycled aggregates can be used as the starting material for manufacturing concrete, for example for casting concrete system blocks. Depending on material availability, primary raw materials or blends of recycled (RC) and primary materials can also be processed. This closes the loop: secondary raw materials become a usable construction material, without operators having to rely on external suppliers for bulk materials.
From raw material to ready-mixed concrete at the touch of a button
The Concrete Filling Station is based on a standardised process: users can draw off ready-mixed concrete directly from the unit within just a few minutes. The system has up to six storage chambers with a total capacity of 30 m³—ideal for combining different aggregate sizes and recycled components to suit requirements. Mixing and dosing are handled automatically by the station. Depending on the operator and site concept, the process is started using a magnetic card or via QR code. In addition, Beton2Go offers the Building Materials Kiosk as a self-service terminal, supporting a contactless and digital selection process and further standardising workflows at the interface between ordering, dispensing and documentation.
