Frank Mercers & Son in Bolton, Greater Manchester recently took the decision to use Mach-Techs part exchange programme to replace a 10 year old Lindner Micromat  2000 with another Lindner Micromat 2000, albeit, the updated 2020 version.

When the Micromat arrived at Mach-Tech HQ it was immediately snapped up by a long term customer who was in the market for his sixth machine from Mach-Tech spanning well over a decade, the abrasiveness of the customers infeed product is such that to reduce plant downtime and to improve the overall process. Mach-Tech Services welding department used advanced welding  technology to improve the traded- in product.

Mach-Techs experienced welders added a chromium carbide overlay to the machines rotor to improve its durability. Whilst the rest of the machine was stripped to the bare chassis and rebuilt.

With our highly skilled workforce reconditioning our stock we are able to place into the marketplace used machines of the very highest quality at a fraction of the cost of new.

All used equipment is thoroughly restored to its original condition by Mach-Tech engineers before being offered for sale.

We take used machinery from all manufacturers such as Vecoplan, Untha, Weima and more.

An extensive range of single shaft and four shaft shredding machinery is always available at our showrooms in Lancashire where we also have our demonstration facility to test customer specific materials, ensuring that when we recommend a machine our customers can be confident that it will perform.
