Machinex appoints a new executive vice-president sales and strategic positioning

Machinex Group is proud to announce the promotion of Mr. Jonathan Menard as the new Executive Vice-President Sales & Strategic Positioning. Mr. Menard, who has worked at Machinex for the past eight years as a Sales Project Director mostly in European and international markets, has developed a great expertise in designing systems for mixed dry recyclable, mixed waste processing and RDF & SRF fuel preparation processing MSW, C&I and other types of waste. Mr. Menard has designed some of the largest and most technologically advanced facilities currently in operation within the United Kingdom.

In his new role, Mr. Menard will focus on the continuous expansion of Machinex presence in the European & international markets while also strategically positioning the company within the continuously evolving waste management marketplaces.

With his great expertise and vision, Mr. Menard will more precisely work on the company’s strategic sales positioning with the ultimate objective of:

• Orienting and supporting Machinex business development within the more emergent and very promising spheres of the market (Waste-to-Energy pre-treatment, Organic Treatment, Mixed waste processing, Glass sorting & purification, etc.)
• Orienting and guiding Machinex Research & Development efforts and commercialization of the highly specialized internal products (MACH HYSPEC optical sorters, Premium Quality Machinex balers, MACH ballistic separators, MACH air separators, etc.)
• Orienting and harmonizing Machinex marketing message within the North American, European and international markets.

Mr. Menard holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Laval University in Quebec and a Diploma in Business Administration from HEC in Montreal. He’s a member of the Quebec Order of Professional Engineers (OIQ).
