Made for the quarry: The new MC 120 Z PRO from Kleemann
Kleemann presented the new mobile MOBICAT MC 120 Z PRO jaw crusher at Steinexpo. The second member of the PRO line is the perfect complement to the mobile cone crusher MOBICONE MCO 11 PRO and is also characterised by robustness and high power.
The mobile crushing plants in the Kleemann PRO series have been developed especially for the challenging demands in the quarry. The new MOBICAT MC 120 Z PRO achieves an output of up to 650 tonnes per hour with a maximum feed size of 1100 x 700 mm. The powerful jaw crusher with its long movable crusher jaw is the heart of the plant. In order to guarantee the best possible material flow, the Continuous Feed System (CFS) adapts the conveying speed to the fill level of the crusher. The CFS is active in both plants with a line coupling with the MOBICONE MCO 11 PRO so that both crushers are optimally utilised. The PRO crushing plants are equipped with an economical and at the same time powerful diesel-electric drive, the crusher and conveyor belts are operated electrically. An external power supply is available as an option for even more economical operation. The power generator can also supply downstream plants such as a screening plant or a stockpile conveyor with power.
The MC 120 Z PRO has an independent double-deck prescreen with an extra-large screening surface of 3.5 m². The thorough screening of the fines helps boost productivity and increase the final product quality, while also reducing wear at the crusher. The medium grain can be passed via the crusher bypass at the jaw crusher which further reduces the wear. In order to quickly adapt the plant to different applications, the crushing gap can be adjusted with a few commands on the 12" touch panel. This is just one of the plant functions which is operated using the new and intuitive control concept SPECTIVE. The operator is guided through the menu step by step. The movement of the MC 120 Z PRO and the control of the feeding unit are additionaly effected via the radio remote control.
Despite its robust design, the MC 120 Z PRO is very easy to transport. The prescreen, chute and crusher can be removed to reduce the transport weight. The crushing plant is quickly in operating position as the hopper walls of the feeding unit can be folded hydraulically and are self-locking. Maintenance and refuelling are also simple as all machine components can be reached from the ground or via spacious work platforms. The MC 120 Z PRO can be customised by adding optional equipment. For instance, the crusher unblocking system can remove jammed material and a rock chisel can crush larger pieces of rock.
