MDS to showcase flagship M515 Heavy Duty Trommel at CONEXPO 2026

MDS®, a global leader in specialist screening equipment, will showcase its flagship M515 Heavy Duty Trommel at CONEXPO 2026 on the Terex stand (Silver Lot, booth S5435) at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This year’s show coincides following a major milestone for the brand as it celebrated 30 years in business, marking three decades of engineering expertise that have shaped its reputation for building some of the toughest trommels in the world.

Founded in 1995 in rural Ireland, MDS has evolved from a small fabrication workshop into a globally recognised manufacturer known for innovation, durability and performance. The brand’s presence at CONEXPO comes at a significant time, as it continues to strengthen its distributor relationships and expand its support for customers handling the most demanding material processing challenges.

“We’re extremely proud to have celebrated 30 years of MDS,” said Steven Keenan, recently appointed General Manager. “This anniversary is not just about reflecting on our past; it’s about looking ahead. CONEXPO gives us the perfect opportunity to connect with operators, distributors and customers across North America. I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and discussing how our equipment can continue to deliver value and reliability in the years ahead.”

From the spring, MDS will also have a dedicated Regional Sales Manager based in the United States, with Liam Óg Murray taking up the role. Having spent the past several years working hands‑on in the U.S. aggregate and recycling equipment market, he brings practical on‑the‑ground experience that will strengthen support for MDS customers and distributors across North America. His familiarity with American applications and operating conditions will make him a valuable asset as the brand continues to grow its presence in the region.

The M515 Heavy Duty Trommel remains the centrepiece of the MDS portfolio and is widely recognised for its performance in processing tough, clay‑bound and oversized material. Its robust drum design, large hopper capacity and ability to handle rock up to 31.5″ (800 mm) make it particularly well suited for rip rap production—an area experiencing strong demand across North America as infrastructure upgrades, shoreline protection and riverbank stabilisation projects increase. Operators consistently highlight the M515’s ability to clean dirty shot rock, break down sticky material and convert what would traditionally be waste into usable, saleable product. Its swing‑out engine and accessible maintenance layout help reduce downtime, while the machine’s compact transport configuration offers a practical advantage for customers working across multiple sites.

“As the industry faces more complex material challenges and tighter operational demands, the M515 continues to stand out as a machine that simply gets the job done,” added Steven. “Its strength, flexibility and proven capability make it a valuable asset for quarries across the region, and we’re proud to highlight it as part of our 30‑year celebration. I encourage visitors to meet our team and learn more about portfolio at the Terex stand, Silver Lot S5435, throughout CONEXPO 2026.”
