MHP Acquires WSS

We are delighted to announce that Wear and Spillage Supplies Ltd. (WSS) has been acquired by Materials Handling Products Ltd. (MHP)

This step marks a significant milestone in the development of both companies, with the firm intention to strengthen our group by combining the product and service offerings of both MHP and WSS to further improve the customer experience.

MHP is a leading provider of Rubber and Polyurethane Screen Media, Wear Resistant Linings, Impact Protection and Spillage Control Equipment to the Minerals Extraction, Processing and Waste and Recycling Industries and provides a full range of associated specialist site services.  WSS is a main agent for Linatex® rubber lining, wear & impact protection products and hoses for Weir Minerals Europe and offers a full installation and repair service.  The clear synergy between the two companies provides the ideal platform for us to join forces.

WSS will continue to trade as a wholly owned subsidiary of MHP, with the entire staff and workforce retained in order to operate the business as usual.

Andy Walker is joining the MHP team to ensure that WSS customers continue to receive the excellent service which has been provided to the bulk handling industry throughout his career.

Andy’s knowledge and expertise will remain available, supported by the teams at WSS and MHP.
