New Morbark 3200 Wood Hog Shredder show its paces

The Organics Recycling Group (Renewable Energy Association) hosted their annual conference, exhibition and gala dinner on Thursday 14th March. CRJ were represented at the event by Director Rob Symons, who was then joined by some of our customers and members of our team on a table for the gala dinner.

It is tradition for attendees of the conference to attend a site visit the following day, and this year CRJ opened our doors to show our guests around our site, giving them an overview of our operations at our headquarters.

Our open day started with a presentation, delivered by two of our Directors, Ben McQuaid and Rob Symons. This was followed by a guided tour of our facilities, giving our visitors a 'behind the scenes' look at our machinery, workshops and our spare parts facility.

To finish the day, we demonstrated several machines from our hire fleet. We had one of our Doppstadt SM518 trommel's processing some green waste, which then fed into a Steelweld Rotary AST 1500 air separator, which separated the oversize into a light and a heavy fraction.

The headline act for our machine demonstrations was our all-new Morbark - 3200 Wood Hog shredder. This machine is new to our hire fleet, and our guests got the first look at the machine in action, shredding some organic waste.

Here is a sneak preview of our new Morbark machine, which will be available for hire shortly.
