Pilot Crushtec International sells first Sandvik UH450E outside Scandinavia
South African crushing and screening specialist and the sole distributor of Sandvik Mobile Crushing and Screening products in southern Africa, Pilot Crushtec International, has announced the first sale of the new Sandvik UH450E outside of Scandinavia.
Launched globally at Steinexpo 2014 in Homberg/Nieder-Ofleiden, Germany, between 3 and 6 September, the revolutionary UH450E design combines the reliability of Sandvik cone crusher technology with a loop feed conveyor and aggressive screening system.
Described as ‘powerful, economical and intelligent’, the machine provides customers with a world class crushing and screening solution, combining productivity with outstanding economy.
Pilot Crushtec International CEO Sandro Scherf attended this year’s Steinexpo together with Royden Webster, operations director of Danoher Contracting, the South African company that acquired the machine.
Scherf is convinced that the Sandvik UH450E holds a great future in Africa: “There is no doubt that this unit is ideal for our environment. In three-stage crushing mode it can deliver more than 270 tonnes per hour of quality sized product. It is also compact, which is a major plus factor for many of our customers working in difficult locations.”
Danoher Contracting’s Sandvik UH450E is expected to land on South African shores in mid-October to swell its growing fleet of Sandvik and Pilot Crushtec International locally manufactured products.
