PLASTPOL 2026: Efficient Plastics Processing in Focus

All-rounder in plastics recycling – Vecoplan presents the VIZ 1300...

Not all plastics are the same – and that is precisely the challenge for any processing plant. At PLASTPOL, the trade fair for the plastics and rubber processing industry in Kielce, Poland, Vecoplan will demonstrate how this material diversity can be mastered with the VIZ 1300. Thanks to its variable rotor and blade configurations as well as a range of screen sizes, the high-performance shredder adapts flexibly to virtually any plastic material and any application requirement. Visitors are welcome to see it for themselves from 19 to 22 May 2026 at Stand 3A-11 in Hall 3, and to find out more about the comprehensive solution portfolio of this full-system provider.

A particular highlight of the VIZ 1300 is the option to equip the machine with automatically adjustable counter-knives. Normally, operators need to manually readjust the cutting gap regularly to maintain consistent shredding quality. The automatic counter-blade adjustment performs this task fully automatically and without manual intervention. This significantly reduces the time required and guarantees a consistently high output quality, regardless of the operator's level of experience.

When it comes to the drive, users have a choice: the gearless HiTorc drive generates torque directly and comes without any wear parts such as couplings, belt drives, and flywheels. Alternatively, the ESC belt direct drive is available. Both options are designed for maximum efficiency and minimal maintenance. Machine control is handled by Vecoplan's VSC.Control system, which allows users to intuitively adjust numerous machine parameters and monitor operating data in real time – from any standard mobile device.

Cleaning technology as part of the process chain

Alongside the VIZ 1300, Vecoplan is also highlighting the topic of cleaning technology at PLASTPOL. Energy-efficient solutions in this field are becoming increasingly important in modern plastics recycling. Together with its subsidiary Pla.to – a specialist in dry cleaning and washing technology – Vecoplan offers tailored, resource-efficient cleaning solutions that can be seamlessly integrated into overarching processing concepts for plastic streams. Dry cleaning requires no water, produces extrusion-ready flakes, and creates essential conditions for stable downstream process steps, such as chemical recycling. The portfolio is complemented by wet cleaning processes including friction washers and mechanical dryers. "Our focus is on finding the right cleaning solution for every material stream," explains Daniel Wienand, Head of Sales Europe at Vecoplan. "In our in-house 'Cleanikum', we test a wide range of materials under real-world conditions to determine which process is best suited to the respective application."

At Stand 3A-11 in Hall 3, Vecoplan's team of experts will be providing comprehensive information on the VIZ 1300, cleaning technology, and the company's full solution portfolio.
