Red Knight 6 delivers UK’s first Astec Frontier Multi-Frequency Screen to Total Aggregates
Red Knight 6 Ltd is delighted to announce the sale of the first Astec Frontier Multi-Frequency Screen to arrive in the UK, with the machine purchased by Total Aggregates...
The arrival of the machine marks an important milestone for both Astec and Red Knight 6, bringing a new, proven screening technology to the UK market for the first time that is designed to tackle some of the most challenging screening applications, particularly materials with high fines content and a tendency to cause blinding.
Astec’s unique and patented Multi-Frequency technology allows additional vibration to be applied to the bottom deck when required, helping to maintain material flow and separation while reducing the blinding that can affect conventional screening equipment.
Damian Power, Managing Director Europe Region, Astec "We are delighted to see our first Astec Frontier SF20 Multi-Frequency Screen arrive in the UK and, importantly, go straight into a working application with Total Aggregates. This technology has been developed to solve a very real problem for operators dealing with difficult, sticky and high-fines materials. The UK market is an important part of our European growth strategy and this is a significant first step."
Paul Donnelly, Managing Director, Red Knight 6: "We have been working closely with Astec on this technology and have seen first-hand the potential of the Multi-Frequency Screen. To now have the first machine in the UK sold to a forward-thinking customer such as Total Aggregates is fantastic. For us, it's exactly what we want to achieve with Astec – bringing genuinely innovative technology to customers and solving real operational challenges rather than simply selling another machine."
Martin Cox, Business Development Manager, Yorkshire, Total Aggregates: “The Astec Frontier SF20 Multi-Frequency Screen is an exciting addition to our operation. This new technology has the capability to transform our onsite screening process, increasing productivity and delivering efficiencies. Challenging materials are screened with ease, enabling us to offer further quality products to our customers. We are proud to be the first company in the UK to commission this machine and highlights our ongoing commitment to invest in the latest technology.”
The sale further strengthens the relationship between Astec and Red Knight 6, following the appointment of Red Knight 6 as an official Astec distributor for England and Wales. Astec has identified the UK as an important market for its European expansion, with Red Knight 6 bringing extensive experience and established relationships within the UK crushing and screening industry.
For Total Aggregates, the new machine represents an investment in screening technology designed to maximise production and maintain performance in demanding applications.
