Smiley Monroe return to Steinexpo 2017

Following unprecedented success at ConExpo/Con-Agg (Las Vegas), Smiley Monroe is excited to be returning to Germany for SteinExpo 2017. Since our last German show, Bauma (2016), the company has continued to grow in the region. To satisfy customer demand, Smiley Monroe has just invested in building a new production centre in Northern Ireland, to provide 1000sqm of additional manufacturing space, dedicated to Custom Rubber Parts. A new, state-of-the-art waterjet cutter has been installed allowing us to cut with breath-taking precision, thicker and harder materials.

At SteinExpo, we’ll be announcing our European expansion plans by rolling out our successful ‘Just-In-Time’ delivery model in the region to be closer to our customers.

Experience the Giants of Belting
As well as an introduction to Smiley Monroe’s core products – Endless Conveyor Belts and Custom Rubber Parts - visitors can expect to meet the legendary ‘Giant of Belting’ sculpture, inspired by the Irish legend of Finn McCool and the Giant’s Causeway coastal rock formation. As always, our applications experts and experienced problem-solving engineers will be on hand to discuss how Smiley Monroe’s products can make a difference in the German market, using not only physical, but virtual displays such as 3D product animations and a virtual reality (VR) experience. We encourage all our visitors to slip on the VR headset, immerse themselves in our world, where they’ll learn more about our full range of products for mobile equipment including our new ‘Special’ Hot Moulded Belts, Zip Clip™, King Roller™ Glide Tracker™ and Wear Liners.

What’s New?
Smiley Monroe will be launching Cold Bond™ at SteinExpo – a new type of cold vulcanising adhesive with a safer organic compound, suitable for use in mining and underground applications. The two-part vulcanising adhesive with activator is designed for conveyor belt splicing, bonding rubber to rubber & bonding rubber to metal.

Smiley Monroe is the global market leader in the production of Endless Conveyor Belts and Custom Rubber Parts for the mobile equipment manufacturing sector, serving OEMs in seven segments: crushing, screening, recycling, washing, bulk material handling, environmental and road construction.
