TOMRA Sorting Recycling targets further growth in the UK and Nordics with latest appointment
Leading sensor-based sorting specialist, TOMRA Sorting Recycling, has appointed Terence Keyworth as Area Sales Manager, Recycling, UK and Nordics. In his new role, Terence will be responsible for driving recycling sales activities in these key regions in line with the company’s global growth strategy.
Terence has been tasked with building and maintaining the existing customer relationships that TOMRA has worked hard to establish, as well as developing new sales opportunities for the company’s industry-leading automated sorting solutions across both the waste recycling and metals sectors. He is also responsible for promoting new products to the market and collaborating with TOMRA’s product management and test centre teams to ensure optimal flow of all new customer relationships.
Based in Sheffield, Terence’s role will see him travel to customers the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland, as well as travelling to Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
Terence brings a wealth of practical and operational industry experience to TOMRA Sorting. For the past five years he worked as After Sales Manager for Danieli & Spa, an Italian supplier of equipment and process plants to the metal industry, where he was responsible for spare parts and service for worldwide scrap shredder installations. For the eight years prior to that, he held various roles with Danieli & Spa, including as Engineering Manager responsible for turnkey projects and Area Sales Manager for Far East Asia and Europe, where he was responsible for the capital equipment sales of scrap shredders with non-ferrous separation plants to the metals recycling sector.
Terence will report to Brian Gist, Head of TOMRA UK and Global Sales Director, Metals. Brian comments: “We are delighted to welcome Terence to the TOMRA team.
