About Crown Aggregates

Crown Aggregates, owners of Hartshill Quarry in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, approached Tyrone International Ltd in February 2022 with a vision to drastically reduce the amount of construction and demolition (C&D) waste entering landfill within the area by investing in a Tyrone International Ltd plant.

Kash Chaudry, Managing Director of Crown Aggregates commented: “We can’t wait to showcase the plant as Fintan and the team at Tyrone International Ltd have over delivered on our original vision at every stage of the process, from planning, manufacturing, through to installation and commissioning, their attention to detail has been phenomenal and the results are already starting to pay dividends.

Tyrone have future-proofed our business whilst helping us towards our Net-Zero targets with an industry leading plant that will comfortably produce upwards of 500,000 tonnes of quality recycled, washed aggregates each year”.

Did you know 200 million tonnes of C&D waste is produced in the UK each year and now over 80% of this is recycled by the aggregates industry! Tyrone International Ltd are leading the way in accelerating this percentage by providing the most innovative, user-friendly and efficient equipment for the aggregates, waste and recycling, and construction and demolition sectors within the UK.
