Brigade to showcase new one-of-a-kind AI HFR solution at Hillhead

Brigade's new AI HFR Box will be on display at the show...

Brigade will be exhibiting its latest vehicle and site safety solutions, including its one-of-a-kind AI HFR Box, at this year’s Hillhead construction exhibition, taking place between 23rd and 25th June 2026.

Visitors to the Brigade stand will have the opportunity to discover how the company’s advanced safety technologies are helping construction operators improve visibility, protect vulnerable workers and maintain compliance with evolving industry regulations.

A key focus on the stand will be the AI HFR Box, Brigade’s intelligent and cost-effective upgrade solution designed to transform existing camera systems into AI-powered pedestrian detection systems. The only solution of its kind on the market, AI HFR Box allows operators to enhance safety performance without the need to remove and replace legacy equipment, providing a practical and affordable route to improved site safety.

Designed specifically to support the demanding requirements of construction environments, the AI HFR Box helps operators address increasing safety expectations around protecting groundworkers and vulnerable personnel working in close proximity to moving vehicles and plant machinery. By adding AI-powered human detection capabilities to existing systems, fleet operators can improve awareness for drivers while supporting compliance with industry safety standards and site regulations.

The AI HFR Box also offers significant sustainability benefits by extending the lifespan of existing safety equipment. Rather than replacing entire camera systems, operators can upgrade their current infrastructure, reducing waste, minimising downtime and lowering the environmental impact associated with new hardware installations.

Brigade’s vehicle safety solutions are developed to help operators meet and exceed global safety standards, including DVS, GSR and UNECE regulations. All products are certified to ISO9001:2015, and principal manufacturing facilities are certified to IATF 16949:2016.

Jordan Marshall, UK Marketing Manager at Brigade, said: “Hillhead is an important event for the construction industry and provides a fantastic opportunity to speak directly with operators about the challenges they face around vehicle and site safety. The AI HFR Box is a particularly valuable solution for construction fleets because it delivers advanced AI-detection capabilities in a highly cost-effective and sustainable way, while helping improve protection for groundworkers and site personnel.”
