The CheckProof Industry Excellence Award recognizes customers who are raising the bar for operational performance in their industry. Its latest recipient, Day Group, has been operating since 1947 and today employs almost 700 people across 25 locations, spanning aggregates supply, recycling, specialist contracting and equestrian surfaces.
Day Group implemented CheckProof for their maintenance processes and has since expanded it into plant inspections, health and safety, deviation reporting, permit to work and risk assessments, with much of that growth led by Day Groups own area managers.
The results show in how quickly issues are resolved. Defects reach the responsible manager straight away, and maintenance jobs are typically closed within one day. Inspection records are also available instantly for audits, from any location.
The award and diplomas are presented to Michael Woodward, Production Director; Lucian Hester, Production Manager; Malcolm Burton, Area Depot Manager; Jason Corpas Bravo, Area Depot Manager; and Daniel Palmer, Depot Manager, on behalf of the Day Group team.
