Plant Parts Ltd, a leading independent construction machinery parts supplier, is proud to announce the arrival of its bespoke hydraulic motor test facility, The Rig, at its Suffolk headquarters.
This world-first system, which is scheduled to be operational in the next few weeks, is designed for Swing Drive and Final Drive hydraulic motors, capable of load testing up to 132 kW, and represents the company’s largest investment in its 30+ year history.
The facility will be available to customers, partners, and dealers, providing unmatched testing, quality assurance, and operational confidence.
The project represents an investment of around £1 million, making it the largest single investment in Plant Parts’ 30-plus-year history. It reflects a response to increasing technical demands within the industry, as well as a broader shift towards greater accountability and data-driven validation in aftermarket repair.
A Landmark Investment
The Rig is the only facility of its kind in Europe and possibly the world. Fully operational by Spring 2026, The Rig expands Plant Parts’ capabilities to simulate real-world operating conditions with high accuracy and advanced data capture.
