First sale of the innovative new Remu crossover bucket in the UK

Despite the fact that it’s not even been officially launched yet in the UK, Worsley Plant are pleased to announce that they have made their first sale of the REMU Crossover Bucket!

The Crossover Bucket (XO for short) was officially launched to the UK market at Plantworx in June, yet the recent Scottish Demo Days in April proved unexpectedly fruitful, despite the bucket not even being on show there!

John MacIver of Angus Maciver Ltd in Stornoway had originally gone along to look at a crusher bucket, but ended up placing the first UK order.

David Marshall, Worsley Plant’s Area Sales Manager for Scotland explained: “The customer came down for a full two days and ended up buying the XO on the strength of the spec sheet and seeing a video. The first models should start arriving in this country in the next few weeks after we placed an order with REMU at the Intermat show in Paris.”

Angus Mcviver provide building and roofing solutions on the Isle of Lewis.  They have bought the REMU bucket as a potential solution for recycling waste plasterboard.  They will also be able to provide an additional waste disposal service to those that they sell plasterboard to.  In addition the bucket will have a range of other uses, including screening topsoil.

The Crossover bucket (XO for short) is a totally new concept in the attachment sector, offering customers the most versatile attachment for their construction machinery.  Put simply it is a bucket frame, which can be connected to several work modules, enabling fast changes for different jobs.  Basically you are changing the module instead of the bucket.  Changeover takes just 10 minutes!

There are 3 modules available:

  • SB – Blade Screen Module
  • SC – Screener Crusher Module
  • SV – Vibrating Screening Module

Crossover makes thinks easier:

  • Accomplish various different types of work with one bucket
  • Change the particle size during screening
  • Process different types of material e.g. topsoil or compost
  • Alternate between crushing and screening
  • Easily change between blade screening and vibratory screening
  • Use the bucket to load or move materials

Two different sizes of the Crossover bucket will be launched initially.  The XO2090 is recommended for excavators over 5 tons and the XO2150 for excavators over 8 tons.
