With the continuing success of Prolift as an access provider based in the South West of England the company have recently invested in ten new Manitou Access Platforms to meet the demands of their customers from their depot locations of Wellington, Somerset, Ringwood, Hampshire, Roche, Cornwall and Bristol.

The new Manitou Platforms are rough terrain models, the 16 metre work height 160 ATJ and the 20 metre 200ATJ. Prolift have enjoyed a long standing relationship with Manitou and the decision to purchase the ATJ Platforms was based on the quality of the machines and their outstanding reliability. Prolift have come a long way since their formation in 2010 and now boast 700 + access platforms offering sales, hire, repairs, training and service agreements.

Hire is the main part of the business for Prolift and they hire access platforms to all types of industries on short or long term hire so keeping a comprehensive range of platforms is critical to the company’s continuing success. Manitou are a key part of the Prolift hire fleet with the popular 100 VJR appealing to industrial customers who require a 10 metre working height for maintenance and installation projects. The ATJ platforms are a robust design to ensure they can easily operate on construction sites with maximum efficiency. Smooth and precise controls are a hallmark of the ATJ platforms with its fully proportional hydraulic system providing a finger- tip control of all the hydraulic functions.

Simultaneous movements of the four major boom sections can be easily achieved for total flexibility.
