Matpro Machinery and CRJ Services form new partnership to enhance customer service

Matpro Machinery Ltd and CRJ Services have today announced a new deal, which will see both companies merging to form one of the largest machinery hire and machinery sales companies in the UK.
Both companies are highly respected in the materials processing industry and this deal will bring together a combination of world class hire, sales and services from two highly regarded machinery providers.
CRJ Services Ltd provides hire equipment to the organic, wood, waste management and material handling industries and is renowned for their commitment to after sales and service.
With a hire fleet of over 75 units, 17 engineers and a parts stock holding of over £1m held at their headquarters in Knutsford, Cheshire, the company has continued to grow from strength to strength.
Matpro Machinery Ltd is a distributor for world class machinery brands such as Haas, Backers, CRS and Steelweld and has gained a reputation for customer commitment and after sales service.
As a result of this new alignment, Matpro has now become the sole distributor for Haas and Steelweld Enviro products across the UK and Ireland and have now got plans in place to enhance relationships with a number of other manufacturers.
Both Matpro and CRJ will continue to trade as before but with sharing and expansion of physical and human resources.
CRJ’s headquarters will continue to be based in Knutsford, Cheshire, with Matpro continuing to operate from their existing offices in Scotland. Plans for additional sites have now been prioritised with a particular focus on opening a new base in London.
Rob Symons from CRJ Services believes: "Our new partnership will mean that both CRJ Services and Matpro Machinery are equipped to offer more enhanced services and to meet customer demands more efficiently.
With an extension of our spare parts availability and staff resources across a larger footprint, I am confident that we will be able to offer unparalleled service within our industry."
Ben McQuaid from Matpro Machinery also commented: "Combining our extensive resources will help us to strengthen our offering across the UK and Ireland.
We are excited at the prospect of working together to become the most powerful and innovative force within the materials processing industry and we look forward to the benefits that this will bring for our customers."
