We are pleased to announce the launch of a new educational video showcasing the sophisticated processes carried out at our Wrexham PFI site...

This video provides an in-depth look at how recyclable materials, food waste, garden waste, and general household waste are carefully sorted, treated, and transformed through a range of advanced technologies and specialist facilities- including our Materials Recycling Facility (MRF), In Vessel Composting (IVC), and Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) plant. Alongside our waste treatment infrastructure, the video also showcases the site’s 12 acres of ecological land- an important part of our commitment to environmental stewardship. 

By highlighting the complexity and scale of modern recycling operations, the video underlines the vital role the public plays in supporting this work. Recycling correctly at home is essential- not only to maintain the quality of recyclable materials, but also to ensure the safety, efficiency, and environmental benefits of the process.
