Pneumatic Conveying 2016 – 29 November 2016

Pneumatic Conveying 2016 – 29 November 2016 – One Birdcage Walk, London
Used across many industries, pneumatic conveyance systems are often critical elements in bulk handling facilities that can make the difference between a successful plant, and an inefficient, unprofitable, and hazardous operation.
Organised by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, the upcoming Pneumatic Conveying seminar will address the latest methods of feeding, carrying and discharging materials from pneumatic conveying. Plant safety, reliability, operation and plant upgrading are all key topics that will all be covered.
The seminar will also be a key opportunity for end users, equipment designers and bulk materials handling experts to share case studies and real-world insights from successful plant projects. Presentations will be led by speakers including Bradley Pulverising Company, Greenbank Group, Fairport Engineering, FLS Möller, Schenk Process UK Ltd and RWE Generation UK.
Key programme highlights include
• RWE Power Generation discuss the challenges in the pneumatic conveying of biomass
• British Compressed Air Society explain how the Eco-Design Directive (2009/125/EC) is affecting industry
• Schenck Process UK address the challenges in dense phase conveying and Industry 4.0 technologies
• The Wolfson Centre and the Centre for Industrial Bulk Solids Handling share the latest research into pneumatic conveying methods and modelling
• Panel discussions to share best practice when conveying different material types and volumes
