Sandvik launch new QH332 DDHS Hydrocone at this year’s Hillhead

Sandvik Mobile Crushers and Screens is excited to be unveiling a number of global product launches at this year’s event. One of these is the QH332 DDHS Hydrocone crusher, which will take pride of place on the demonstration area. Based on the class leading QH331 with renowned Hydrocone technology, this new cone crushing solution provides all the benefits of its predecessor but with the functionality of a double or single deck hanging screen in a fully self-contained, detachable and stand-alone form.

The double deck hanging screen offers unprecedented flexibility and can be fitted without the use of additional lifting equipment. It has been designed for quick conversion and can be completely removed returning it back to a standard open circuit unit all within 30 minutes. Alternatively, in closed circuit, it can operate as 2 or 3 way split. The oversize can be recirculated back into the feed conveyor to produce two screened products, or the oversize conveyor can be hydraulically rotated through 90° to stockpile three products.

The 13’ x 5’ / 4 x 1.5m screen box also features a variable screen angle and can also be hydraulically positioned to create a single deck hanging screen using the top deck as a breaker deck without removing any screen mesh.
