The Austrian mechanical engineering company RUBBLE MASTER invests in Coalisland
Maximus is growing and recruiting further employees...
This spring Maximus, the Northern Irish manufacturer of mobile screen units based in Coalisland, County Tyrone, acquired a new majority shareholder. The Austrian crusher and screen manufacturer RUBBLE MASTER is investing in the Dungannon site, thereby creating new jobs in the region.
RUBBLE MASTER, the world market leader in the compact crushing sector, has been growing steadily for years. With its acquisition of a majority share in Maximus, the Northern Irish screening equipment manufacturer, RM takes another step towards expanding its product portfolio for its customers and offering them a complete range of crusher and screening technology from a single source. “We decided to invest in Maximus because Maximus products are a good match for our RM crushers and our expansion plans,” says RM founder and CEO Gerald Hanisch. “We know that the region has the expertise and specialists that we need to continue our growth and further cement our position as a driver of innovation and world market leader in mobile crushing and recycling.”
1+1=3 Investment guarantees the growth of both brands
“RM and Maximus have been working together successfully in the screening sector for many years,” says Günther Weissenberger, RM CFO and Managing Director of Maximus. Weissenberger and the well-reputable local Managing Director Neil Collins form the new management team. “Besides the benefits for the customer that this takeover brings we can exploit synergies in many other areas too. Together we offer an unbeatable product range.” In Dungannon, work is currently proceeding on a concrete master plan in which the next steps and investments will be decided. One thing is clear already: “We will invest several million pounds here in Dungannon and upgrade the site,” confirms the local Maximus Managing Director Neil Collins. “To this end, we’re looking for additional specialists to develop innovations for both brands and launch them on the market.”
Specialists for every area wanted
The new investor from Austria not only means that jobs at the production plant and in the sales and service network are guaranteed, but also that additional qualified specialists will be taken on in every department. Specifically, new employees are currently being sought in every technical and business sector: from welders and painters to quality management staff and sales administrators. “At RUBBLE MASTER we are committed to a very special, family-like corporate culture that forges ties and is founded on transparency, personal responsibility and openness,” explains Gerald Hanisch. “The Maximus employees already know about this RM spirit from the cooperation of the last few years because it defines the entire company and also stretches to our contacts with customers and suppliers. Everyone puts their heart and soul into their work and is part of the RM family. In this family-like atmosphere, our new colleagues will also be fired up by the idea and vision behind the company.”
