VEKA Recycling promotes quality theme at RWM 2013
Quality – both in terms of material input and the services it can offer to waste management companies - is the key message from VEKA Recycling, which returns to the Recycling & Waste Management show for the fourth year running in September.
As one of the sector’s leading PVC-U recyclers, Kent-based VEKA Recycling will be highlighting its cost-effective services as a dependable outlet for waste PVC-U, with an emphasis on developing long-term working relationships with its customers.
“Quality is paramount and while we accept any de-glazed post-consumer frames for a fair market rate, we are keen to reduce contamination as much as possible. While all end-of-life PVC-U can be recycled, we want to make a quality product from it, so the input material has to match,” says Simon Scholes, Business Administration Manager for VEKA Recycling.
“Clean input material contributes to a higher value product at the end of the recycling process and we want to see old frames going back into new products,” continues Simon, who will be joined on Stand 17 B59 at RWM 2013 with the rest of the VEKA Recycling team.
He adds: “Ultimately we would like to see an industry-recognised quality standard for end-of-life PVC-U from which everyone benefits. RWM gives us the ideal opportunity to meet our existing and potential customers face-to-face, so why don’t you call in for a chat?”
Established in the UK since 2007 with an annual 20,000-plus tonnes recycling capacity, the Kent-based company is part of the worldwide VEKA Recycling Group with processing facilities in three European countries.
