Drilling and blasting

Drilling and blasting is an operation commonly used in the mining industry to break apart sections of rock. It is only performed once the process of face profiling has been completed.

Initially, shot holes are drilled at specific positions indicated by the profiling stage. Following this, explosives are then loaded into the designated holes prior to being detonated.
