Quarrying

Quarrying is the process by which rock and stone are extracted from the Earth’s crust. Once sourced, these materials are appropriately crushed to produce varying degrees of aggregate.  

Carried out through a sequence of stages, quarrying enables raw materials to be turned into products of value.
