Pneumatic Conveying Systems; Short Courses for Engineers
Pneumatic conveying is a very commonly used method for transporting bulk solids – from large scale ship bulk cargo unloaders, to small in-plant systems.
Our short courses are designed for engineers at all levels to help them strengthen their understanding of some of the problem areas that may occur and arm them with the knowledge to return to the workplace to deal with these issues.
Basic Training – for those who are new to the industry or those who would like to achieve a basic understanding of the operation of pneumatic pipelines.
17 - 18 November 2026; Venue – Nether Langwith, Notts
Pneumatic Conveying of Bulk Materials - Identification of components of pneumatic conveying systems, system selection and design techniques
Advanced training – for those who are actively involved in design or troubleshooting of pneumatic conveying systems.
1 – 2 December 2026; Venue – Chatham, Kent
Pneumatic Conveying System Design – An in-depth exploration of detailed calculations for design of pneumatic pipelines and specifying plant.
Practical workshop: 3 December – one day of demonstrations of specialised equipment used in pneumatic conveying processes in our onsite pilot plant in Chatham, Kent. Open to all. You do not need to attend the theory courses to benefit from the workshop.
Hands-on Training; for those who actively involved in commissioning or troubleshooting pneumatic conveying systems.
