Prostack lunch the Manta™ product range
ProStack is pleased to launch the Manta™ product range, which will include standard, heavy duty and customised environmental port unloading hoppers. To bring this product range to market, ProStack is partnering with DOCKSOLID, an Irish manufacturer of port equipment (designed and fabricated by Buttimer Engineering) for bulk ports, logistics hubs and industrial facilities to handle dry bulk commodities.
Loaded with a crane and grab, the Manta range is ideal for port terminals handling; grains, coal, minerals, cement, fertilizers, powders and other dry bulk commodities. Manta hoppers are robust, reliable and efficient bulk handling solutions with a focus on flexibility of use and high mobility and manoeuvrability. The range will also include the innovative Environmental Hopper, a world leader in clean bulk handling, combining reliability with state-of-the-art dust control features.
While there are several existing models, bespoke and tailored machines are at the heart of the Manta range. ProStack will work closely with DOCKSOLID to create the best solutions for customers handling dry bulk cargo from ocean going vessels, ensuring their equipment works at optimum levels for their specific operation. By tailoring the machines to a customer’s product, terminal and specifications, Manta hoppers will ensure optimal results, return on investment and ultimately increased profits.
The Manta range provides ProStack with the ability to focus on the import of dry bulk material, complementing the existing range of mobile ship loading equipment, which primarily focuses on the export of material. This enables ProStack to provide the complete dry bulk handling solution.
Speaking about the partnership, ProStack Business Line Director, Steven Aiken said, “We are delighted to be in partnership with DOCKSOLID. They have a strong history with this type of product and in serving customers in the port handling industry. We are confident that with their knowledge the Manta range will be a huge success for ProStack—it will really enhance our port handling solutions, allowing us to grow in this fast-paced industry and offer quality, bespoke solutions for our customers.”
