System Solutions for Shredding, Separating, Splitting and Washing

At the world’s leading trade show for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management from 30th May – 3rd June 2016 in Munich solution provider Doppstadt will showcase its expert knowledge in the field of waste management, recovery and recycling of raw materials. For this purpose, the internationally oper-ating enterprise will exhibit the latest machines and procedures in action on the exhibition ground of the VDMA, the VDBUM and on the open-air exhibition ground between the halls C1 and C2. Highlights of the show: shredding and separation of wood, biomass and waste in one system and wind sifting and sorting into various fractions.

One System, Two Procedures, Two World Debuts
The new hook-lift separator HS 800 Selector combined with the shredder DW 3060 Type F will be show-cased on the exhibition ground between hall C1 and C2. This system and another innovation, the rear star screen HS 514 Selector, combined with the crawler track mobile shredder DW 3060 Type F (to be seen on the demonstration ground of the VDMA) combines two recycling procedures: The system shreds waste wood, green waste and sorted wood and plastic waste and afterwards screens them to the required grain size.

The input material is shredded without being pulverized. The undesirable fine fraction in the final product is reduced to a minimum. The rear star screen works without any separate drive and leads the oversize back to the shredding unit by means of a return conveyor, so that the material will precisely meet the specifications. Thanks to this procedure optimizing the product in a recirculating flow, a high-quality product with homogeneous grain size is achieved. The crawler track mobile system can be used flexibly at various locations. Thanks to the well-proven modular Doppstadt technology it can be equipped with vari-ous shredding rollers and tools.

Furthermore, the mobile large-scale chipper DH 910 SA with a swiveling rear conveyor instead of the dis-charge chute will be showcased. The chipped material is not thrown through the air, but transported and discharged by a rear conveyor with 60-90 ° swiveling range thus reducing the fine fraction to a minimum and increasing the throughput capacity. Log timber up to 900 mm is reduced to wood chips with a precisely defined chip size. The new multi-purpose shredder AK 560 EcoPower, which has just entered mass production, covers the field of green waste at the VDMA demonstrations. The shredder offers all the advantages of the predecessor series and it is equipped with a more powerful and more economic and environmentally friendly engine technology.

On the demonstration ground of the VDBUM full-line supplier Doppstadt will demonstrate amongst others the crawler-track mobile wind sifter WS 2000 K featuring two top-of-the-range solutions of the recycling technology. No sooner is it installed than the wind sifter convinces the customers with its extremely high separating performance capacity: it separates the input material into up to four fractions. On the demon-stration ground the wind sifter is working with another Doppstadt machine: An upstream screen separates the input material into fines and oversize. The mixture of oversize material with a lot of impurities contain-ing e. g. stones, plastic film, biomass or metal residues is charged directly into the wind sifter, where the single components are separated precisely.

Exhibition Ground between Hall C1 and C2: Innovations for Screening and Separating
At the IFAT, Doppstadt will showcase another separating solution – the splitting. This method enables up to three fractions to be separated depending on the material properties without plugging and wrapping. A Splitter loosens, separates and doses various materials. A pre-treatment is only required in certain circum-stances. Mixed construction waste can be treated as well as stones and soil, metal scrap, slag and landfill residues. The world first Splitter H2 System, offers extraordinary flexibility: Thanks to the modular con-struction, the machines can be composed individually – to meet any requirements.

For the first time, Doppstadt will exhibit the screen SM 720 Plus. The new model of the Doppstadt series of screens is the biggest: 40 per cent more hopper volume, 20 per cent more discharge heap volume at the rear and side conveyors and German state-of-the-art engine technology – but for all that the machine mounted on a semitrailer chassis ensures road traffic mobility.
