Can-Am Chains is pleased to announce the acquisition of Nordic Quick Systems AB (NQS), a Swedish company specializing in innovative sprocket systems and related solutions for industrial applications.
The acquisition brings together two complementary businesses with a shared focus on engineered solutions, customer service and long-term relationships. NQS’s quick-change sprocket technology complements Can-Am’s established portfolio of industrial chains, sprockets and related products and provides a platform for further growth in the Nordic region and international markets.
NQS will become part of the Can-Am family. The companies will work together on a careful integration that maintains continuity for NQS customers while creating opportunities to broaden the products and technical solutions available to them.
“We are delighted to welcome NQS and its team to Can-Am. We have been impressed by the technology, customer relationships and market knowledge that has been built at NQS. Our objective is to build on those strengths, support the existing business and create new opportunities by combining NQS’s capabilities with Can-Am’s global manufacturing, product, and market reach,” said Gurmeet Rayat CFO/COO on behalf of Can-Am Chains.
“With Can-Am, we can combine our innovations and refurbishment technology with a complete chain range and a global organisation. This strengthens our offering to existing customers and opens up new markets.” says Erik Jonsson, CEO of Nordic Quick Systems
Can-Am also thanked NQS shareholders, together with Erik Jonsson (CEO) and the NQS team, for their constructive approach throughout the transaction.
The immediate priority will be business continuity and successful integration. Can-Am and NQS will work closely with employees, customers and suppliers while developing opportunities to grow the combined business in the Nordics and internationally.
