Middleton Engineering highlights growing baler range and low cost, safer plastic strapping

Middleton Engineering, the UK’s leading bespoke baler manufacturer and recycling equipment engineers, will highlight its growing range of automatic and semi-automatic balers for UK and export customers, including a new 80 tonne closed end baler, at this year’s Sustainability Live exhibition in April.

Middletons will be presenting baler and conveyor solutions for waste management companies, as well as the distribution and manufacturing sectors, with large volumes of recyclable materials to manage.  The company will also be explaining the benefits of plastic strapping solutions over traditional wire tying methods for baled waste, particularly the cost benefits and improved operator safety compared to wire systems.

Sustainability Live attracts a wide range of UK and international visitors making the event particularly attractive to Middleton Engineering which has a growing export business supplying bespoke solutions to clients in mainland Europe including Scandinavia and The Channel Islands.

Mark Smith, Engineering Director at Middletons explains: “We are working with a growing number of export customers. The fact that we provide a total solution, including bespoke design and manufacturing, with all the logistics of shipping, installation and commissioning, backed by a full after sales service, is especially important for these customers. This ensures machinery is optimised to individual operating environments and waste capacity. Moreover we believe we are the only British company to include comprehensive engineer training.”

Middleton’s will be presenting its full family of products and services including entry level closed end balers, its middle tier HB60 range, powerful twin ram machines, strapping and bagging solutions, conveyors as well as bespoke cylinder manufacturing and after sales services.
