Since 2008, AAF International has worked closely with a coal fired electric power generating facility on providing dust collection solutions for a variety of applications.

AAF began this relationship with the installation of several RotoClone W units, the most cost effective, high efficiency wet dust collector in its class. These were offered as a solution for coal handling applications including tripper rooms and belt conveyors which were all located at one plant in Ohio. The RotoClone W units replaced numerous competitor units.

The customer was so pleased with the performance of the units; they began replacing other units at other plant locations. In the past six years, AAF has provided over a dozen RotoClone W units in a variety of coal handling applications.

AAF has also provided six Kinpactors (venturi-style scrubbers) on pug mill applications. This past year, AAF began a project to replace an existing bag house at an AEP plant on a coal crusher with a RotoClone N. This utility company has chosen AAF for a variety of reasons to replace existing units. Reliability and ease of maintenance are just a few of the reasons why AAF International continues to supply solutions for the utilities dust collection needs.

Our factory representative provided a complete solution for each installation. As you can see from the photo, the RotoClone W is installed with a stub stack and support platforms designed for easy access for maintenance. We are continually growing our relationship with this customer and plan to continue to replace additional competitor units this year.
