Volumech cements its concrete lab testing facilities with UKAS accreditation
Volumech has announced that it has received accreditation from the UKAS National Accreditation Body following more than a year of preparations and scrutiny of the company’s lab team and facilities.
Volumech is fully owned by Cemen Tech, the largest manufacturers of volumetric mixers in the world, and offers full servicing, maintenance and parts for all major volumetric concrete mixer brands alongside its specialist concrete testing lab.
Following a comprehensive ISO/IEC 17025:2017 audit by the UK’s National Accreditation Service, the accreditation assures customers that Volumech’s bespoke concrete solutions and sampling and testing services meet the industry’s highest standards.

“This UKAS accreditation is part of our ambitious plans for growth at Volumech and will allow us to work more easily with contractors on larger building projects as well as smaller concrete providers.”

Volumech, which operates from its state-of-the-art headquarters in Wednesbury in the West Midlands, will be audited again in 6-months’ time, and every 12 months thereafter in order to retain its UKAS accreditation.
