Fox Owmby launches Mobile Washing Division

In the heart of Lincolnshire, Fox Owmby has launched a new mobile aggregate washing division, powered by compact, high-throughput equipment from Molson Washing. Designed to bring sustainable recycling solutions directly to sites across the UK, this expansion reflects the company's forward-thinking approach to civil engineering and materials supply.

Fox Owmby has long been known as a reliable name in civil engineering, earthmoving and aggregate supply. Run by Managing Director Adam Fox, the business has grown steadily over the years, supporting projects across the country with quality materials and groundwork services. With a strong reputation for getting the job done properly, the team at Fox Owmby aren’t afraid to innovate where it matters.

"We’re always looking at how we can improve what we offer," Adam explains. "Adding a mobile washing division means we can show up on site, set up quickly, and start producing clean material. "Before this investment, Fox Owmby were limited to fixed-site processing, which came with challenges. Smaller jobs or remote sites meant longer travel times, higher costs, and in some cases, missed opportunities. They needed something leaner. Something that could roll in, clean material on-site, and roll out without a massive footprint.

That’s when the idea for a mobile plant came into focus. Working closely with the team at Molson, Adam and his crew designed a setup that prioritised speed and flexibility. At the heart of the new division is a fully mobile washing plant built around an AggReclaim FS+ washing system and a Baioni centrifuge. It's been converted to be fully mobile, meaning it can be transported easily and set up within 24 hours.

"That kind of speed is a game changer," says Adam. "We can turn up to a site, get set up within a day, and be washing material almost immediately. That means less downtime for our clients and more control over the quality of material coming out."

To complement the setup, they’ve added an EvoQuip Colt 600 to the fleet. This compact scalping screen packs serious performance into a small footprint. It features a double-deck 8x4 screen box and is powered by a fuel-efficient Caterpillar C2.2 engine. Weighing just 12 tonnes, the Colt 600 is easy to transport without specialist haulage and delivers up to 280 tonnes per hour, depending on the application.

Tom Pope, Area Sales Manager at Molson, States. "The Colt 600 is one of those machines that surprises people," he says. "Compact, yes—but it handles serious volume, and it’s simple to operate. It just works, which is exactly what a business like Fox Owmby needs."

The Colt 600 adds real value to a fast-moving site. Hydraulic folding conveyors keep setup and breakdown times short, and the straightforward control system means operators can get to work without delay. Maintenance is just as practical, with accessible service points that make daily checks and servicing easier. It’s efficient to run too, with low fuel use and dependable components that help minimise downtime. For a business like Fox Owmby, it’s a solid choice that supports productivity without adding complexity.

And it’s not just the kit that’s made this expansion possible. The support from Molson throughout the process played a big part. "They’ve been brilliant," says Adam. "From early discussions to delivery and beyond, they’ve been with us every step of the way. If we hit a snag, they’re on the phone. If we need parts or advice, they sort it. That kind of relationship makes all the difference."

The new washing division is already making an impact. Whether it’s helping developers recycle site-won material or giving smaller projects access to clean, usable aggregate without long haulage, the mobile setup is filling a clear gap in the market. It’s sustainable, cost-effective, and built around the needs of real sites.

"At the end of the day, we’re problem solvers," Adam says. "This is just one more way we can say yes to more jobs, more clients, and keep pushing forward." As for what’s next, Adam’s keeping an open mind. "We’re already looking at where else we can take this. There’s a big future in mobile recovery, and we’re excited to be part of it."

Molson offers a full range of EvoQuip screeners in addition to both CDE and AggReclaim washing systems, with tailored options for mobile or fixed installations. Whether you’re processing construction waste, recycled aggregates, or quarry materials, there’s a solution to help you get more from your material—and a team to back you up when it counts.

For Adam and the team at Fox Owmby, this new washing division isn’t just about adding another service it’s about doing things smarter. With the right kit behind them and Molson’s support along the way, they’ve built a setup that makes sense for the kind of jobs they do. It’s quick, flexible, and already making a real difference on site. And as demand grows, they’re ready to roll wherever the next job takes them.
