Fuchs®, German manufacturer of specialist material handling equipment, has launched the Fuchs Port Line, a newly rebranded and expanded product portfolio designed specifically for port operations. This tailored product line brings together a versatile range of Fuchs Port Material Handlers with the addition of new telescopic conveyors and feeders to improve how ports move, load and manage material.
Fuchs Telescopic Conveyors are engineered to deliver maximum efficiency in ship loading. Featuring a radial telescopic design, they allow operators to load, trim, and change hatches from a single fixed feed-in point, significantly reducing machine movements and shortening loading times. These conveyors incorporate hydraulic raise/lower functionality and a robust, mobile design that enables rapid deployment at the quayside and compact storage when not in use. Their versatility makes them suitable not only for ship loading but also for unloading and stockpiling, with customisation options available to meet the specific needs of each application.
