Highly versatile and efficient solutions

Three models which will be on the Hillhead booth of the Bristol based Keestrack partner Molson Group (Stand CE1) will represent the comprehensive product range of the specialist in mobile recycling applications and aggregate production. The complete program includes 15 different scalpers and screens, 8 tracked crushers and 3 stackers. Full mobility through compact dimensions and low transport weights, class leading operation and service features and modern cost-saving and eco-friendly drive concepts are key characteristics of the Keestrack technology.

On Hillhead 2016 the Keestrack C8 track-mounted large-scale screening unit makes its UK debut. The very flexible units feature a highly efficient double screen unit with large surfaces (2 x 6000 x 1900 mm) to be equipped with different screening systems including the specially adapted expansion-shaft BIVITEC Flip-Flow technology of Keestrack’s Austrian development partner Binder + Co. This guarantees a very broad area of application in the economic recycling of various waste materials (glass, wood, slag etc.), the difficult processing of mineral materials with high basic moisture levels, or in the production of large volumes of standard mineral products (up to 1200 t/h).

By providing different screening combinations of the double screening unit – upper/lower deck: Flip-Flow or upper deck: Circular vibratory screen, bottom deck: Flip-Flow – it is possible to process, for example minimum grain sizes of < 2 mm efficiently. If the linings in the upper-deck circular vibratory screen are changed, the unit can also be directly deployed behind a crusher or for the processing of hot materials (slag, substances containing tar etc.). The transport weight of the Keestrack C8/K8 unit is 43,5 tonnes (HxW during transport: 3.20 x 3.60 m) including the 12 m³ feed hopper, overband magnet (option) and two side conveyors. Rapid on-site set-up times make even shorter-term construction-site deployments of the efficient large-scale machine worthwhile. Like several other Keestrack models the C8/K8 unit is available with diesel-hydraulic and diesel-electric drives (incl. “plug-in” option) which substantially lower energy consumption and enable contractors to operate even in most sensitive environments (eg. water protection areas).

Representing the Keestrack tracked crusher range will be the jaw crusher unit Keestrack B4 (Apollo) and the impact crusher R3 (Destroyer 1011). With a maximum feed size of 600 mm the 42-tonne B4 jaw crusher offers production rates up to 400 tph (inlet: 1.100 x 700 mm; C.S.S. 45 - 160 mm). Efficient and continuous production is guaranteed through a large 5,0-m³ hopper capacity with effective double-deck pre-screening and the patented automatic gap adjustment and safety release system of the crusher. With less than 30 tonnes transport weight including all options (eg. Closed circuit) the R3 is the smallest of Keestrack’s impact crushers, but offers the same unrivalled versatility and productivity in primary and secondary crushing (max. 250 tph).

The compact unit features pre-screening and the direct driven Keestrack impact crusher with 770 x 960 mm inlet opening and a heavy and very effective rotor (ca. 3.200 kg, Ø 1093 mm, width: 920 mm). The optional single deck built-on screen unit with recirculation conveyor allows the cost-effective production of specified products with only one machine.
