Shorts Agricultural Services invest in another Rubble Master.
Based in Windsor, Berkshire, Shorts Agricultural Services Ltd (SASL) have been providing agricultural contracting services to the surrounding counties since 1984. In 2009 SASL were awarded a Royal Warrant to the Queen as agricultural contractors for the work they undertake on the Queen’s local farms.
With a philosophy of committment to investment in the latest machinery the company currently operate a fleet of diggers, screeners, excavators, crushers, and general recycling machines which they also hire out with, or without operators.
Having invested in a Rubble Master RM 70GO! three years ago which was supplied by Red Knight 6 Ltd (RK6), SASL have recently purchased a second machine - the Rubble Master RM HS3500M which has replaced an existing machine from a different manufacturer.
Matthew Campling – Commercial Director – Shorts Agricultural Services, commented, “We made the decision to purchase this machine after a demonstration, as we were completely delighted with it. It is similar in size and throughput to an old machine which it has replaced, and it will be put into service on our own sites and in the hire fleet where it will be used for a variety of screening applications including sand, topsoil and demolition materials.
“When we bought our RM 70GO! about 3 years ago from RK6, we were quite taken with the quality of build and its place in the market on price. The quality of the machinery - power unit, hydraulics, overall size of the screen is very impressive with it consistently producing correctly sized material.
